What time should a 32 month old go to bed?
Typical sleep at this age
Most children this age go to bed sometime between 7 and 9 p.m. and get up between 6:30 and 8 a.m. It may seem that your child’s sleep patterns finally resemble yours, but he’ll spend more time than you do in REM sleep and the deeper stages of non-REM sleep.
How much should a 32 month old be talking?
It’s normal for a 30-month-old’s vocabulary to be around 100 to 250 words; your child may also be using two- or three- word phrases. A 30-month-old who’s not talking may need to have a hearing evaluation and/or may need some help from an early intervention program.
Why is my 32 month old waking up at night?
Both too much and too little daytime sleep can spell problems at night. If you think your toddler might be overtired, try an earlier bedtime and make sure she’s napping enough during the day. If you think she’s waking at night because she’s napping too much, try shortening her nap.
Is there a sleep regression at 33 months?
One more word of warning: Sleep regression is common at this age. Doctors recommend treating these occurrences very short and perfunctory. If they need to go to the bathroom, take them. If they want a sip of water, give it to them.
Is a 3 hour nap too long baby?
An occasional long nap isn’t something to worry about as long as your baby rouses easily and seems like her normal self when you wake her. Just wake your sleeping beauty after the three- or four-hour mark. That’ll ensure that your newborn gets all her feedings in, and that your older baby’s night sleep isn’t disrupted.
